Green water is caused by the presence of millions of suspended algae cells, which multiply rapidly during the spring and summer. Not only is green water unsightly, but it can also adversely affect the water quality in the pond. AlgoRem quickly removes these algae cells from the water column, allowing them to be sieved out by the filter, or removed manually.
How it Works
AlgoRem works by clumping together the algae cells, so that they can be sieved out by the filter. In ponds without a filter, the clumps will float to the surface, or sink to the base of the pond, where they can be removed with a net or pond vacuum. 500ml of AlgoRem treats 10000 litres of pond water.
